Edge of Darkness

Mel Gibson is to star in a new movie following an absence of 2 years. Mel had an altercation whilst being under the influence of drink in 2006 which did him no favours with either the press or his fans. However, we cannot dispute his ability to act or direct and his new movie will no doubt remind us of this fact.

Mel Gibson's new movie is called the Edge of Darkness, a thriller in which he plays a straightlaced cop investigating the death of his daughter.

Iron Man is set to hit the big screen on Thursday 1 May, 2008 starring Robert Downey Jr as the superhero.

Robert Downey Jr is just 43, he is a Golden Globe Winner actor and musician. Born in New York City he started his acting career as early as 1970 and has had a very successful career so far.

His latest role in Iron Man is based on the comic series Marvel.
